Before the tour:
Is it safe for tourists to go to Bali?
Yes. In my opinion Bali is as safe as anywhere in else in the world. And just as any tourist destination in the world that has suffered an unfortunate event, I also feel that the media has greatly sensationalized the dangers of traveling to Bali.
Before going to Bali, should I get traveler’s vaccines/shots?
I recommend that travelers visit their doctor before departing to discuss vaccinations. Do not skip this step if you’re traveling with your kids.
What are my must-haves for travel to Bali?
A current passport and a visa to get into Indonesia. All information on what you need will be outlined in an information book that you will receive upon registration with Redgirl Adventures. Along with a Bali essentials package on the morning of your arrival to Bali during the tour’s welcoming session.
About the tour:
Are your tours for women only? If not, can I bring my children or husband along with me?
Being a woman traveler myself, I have a soft spot for women travelers just like me. However, my tours are open for everyone and anyone who has a passion for adventure and exploration of a new culture.
How are your tours unique from other Bali adventure tours?
Keeping my tours small provides an opportunity to experience Bali off the beaten track, showcasing Bali’s people, culture, and amazing environment. I try to get my guests to experience Bali as how the locals see it and not as a regular tourist.
What are the activities that I should expect if I join your tour?
In organizing the tours I try to design activities that emanate from Balinese culture such as visiting temples, snorkeling off the coast of Bali with the local fishermen, and receiving Balinese massage just to name a few. You can check the itinerary page for all the activities and details.
Are the tours in Bali only? Will there be a chance to visit nearby places while on the tour too?
Currently all tours concentrate on exploring Bali, however, plans for an adventure to Jogjakarta in Java and Lombok. You can subscribe to the newsletter or our Facebook page for announcements on these tours. Having said that, Redgirl Adventures is all about exploration, so should an opportunity arise for an out-of-the-itinerary adventure, we are always happy to heed the call.
Can customers customize their own pocket tours, apart from the group? If yes, will this cost more?
At present I am the only tour guide in Redgirl Adventures therefore I am unable to run multiple tours at the same time. But I am able to run private customized tours outside of my normal tour schedule upon request. Should you prefer a private tour, you can contact me to make a schedule and prices.
If I want to extend my tour with you, will that be possible?
This is possible, of course. However, this also depends on my personal schedule. Should you want to extend your tour, just let me know three (3) days into the original tour schedule. This will provide me some time to move things around to accommodate your request.
How many people are in your tour group?
The numbers in a tour are kept small. A maximum of five to six guests is the usual size of a tour. This is so that everyone can fully immerse themselves in the people and culture of Bali.
How long are the tours going to be?
At present I have a seven (7) day and a nine (9) day tour available. For private tours, length of stay depends upon your schedule.
Do the tours also include accommodations? If not, is it okay for me to get my own accommodation and just join the tours?
All tours include accommodation from the start date to the end date. But should you prefer a different accommodation or have already booked one, it’s no problem.
Are meals included in the tour fee?
The majority of the meals is included. Check Tours Schedule for more details on each tour.
Is transportation also inclusive of the tour?
Transportation is included in the tour costs within tour times, airport pickup and drop off can be arranged.
How early should I make my reservations if I want to join the tour?
The earlier the better. But the ideal date is two months before your chosen tour schedule, especially for new or first time travelers.
How much are the tour rates? Do you need a down payment?
Check the itinerary because prices can vary. I require an AUD $300 non-refundable deposit 2-3 months before the scheduled tour.
What are the forms of payment you accept?
I accept bank transfer, Paypal, and cash. Further details will be givenvia email.
If, for some reason, I can’t join the tour, can I get another schedule? Is it possible to refund my payment?
It is possible to re-schedule for another tour, given that an email will be sent 2-3 days before the tour schedule to inform Redgirl Adventures of the change. The tour prices are refundable but not the deposit.
